How do I clean and care for my upholstered furniture?

To successfully clean upholstered furniture, it is important to determine the content of the fabric and the recommended cleaning code. Recommended Cleaning and Care

Keep your upholstered furniture well vacuumed and free from dust, dirt and crumbs. Dirty fabrics wear faster.

Cushions should be reversed, adjusted and realigned at least once a week. This prevents the welt from becoming displaced and helps the cushions to retain their shape for a longer period of time.

Direct sunlight should be avoided. All fabrics will fade when exposed to direct sunlight.

Accidental stains must be removed immediately! Always test your cleaning solution on a hidden area of fabric before attempting to remove spots or stains. It is highly recommended that professional, guaranteed cleaning help be consulted.

Upholstered Fabric Cleaning Codes

Code W: Use a water-based cleaning agent. Spot clean this fabric with the foam only of a water-based cleaning agent such as a mild detergent or a non-solvent upholstery shampoo. Use sparingly and apply with a soft brush cleaning the area in a circular motion. Avoid saturation. Pre-test a small area before proceeding.

Code S: Use a water free solvent or dry cleaning product. Spot clean fabric with a mild water-free dry-cleaning solvent.  Use sparingly. Pre-test a small area before proceeding.

 
Code SW: Use a water-based cleaning agent or solvent. Spot clean this fabric with a dry-cleaning solvent, mild detergent foam or upholstery shampoo.  Use sparingly and avoid saturation. Pre-test a small area before proceeding.

Is there a fabric warranty on my Dynasty Furniture sofa?

Dynasty provides a one-year warranty on all fabrics against defects in material or workmanship – under normal care and use.  This warranty does not cover clearout and promotional fabrics, piling, shredding, shrinkage, snagging, or where heavy soiling or abuse is evident.  Nor does it cover damage or failure of the fabric resulting from chemical treatment or improper cleaning.
